2014 was a Wicked year here at OBX Entertainment, as we launched the Outer Banks’ first original web series OBXE TV in March and presented the inaugural Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes in October, while co-sponsoring many of the area’s biggest concert events this summer, but what were your favorite stories? 

We were the first news source anywhere to bring you the official announcement that Brew Thru would present its first Summer Concert Series in June and July at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo, making our reveal story the most popular local news story we published all year.

We were also the first to break the news that National Geographic Channel’s Wicked Tuna spin-off series North vs. South would be filmed on the Outer Banks, and you responded by making in the second most popular local news story, followed in third place by our first look at the official trailer and poster featuring our Outer Banks captains.
