The X-Men are back in a retelling of one their most iconic comic book stories (previously told in X-Men: The Last Stand) Dark Phoenix (rated PG13) blasts into theaters, officially opening on Friday, playing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7:00, and 9:40 p.m.

Also new this week, the animated sequel The Secret Life of Pets 2 (rated PG) officially opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 6:30, 7:20, 8:50, and 9:30 p.m.
