Weekend Movie Update – Nov. 21, 2018: Rocky, ‘Ralph’, and ‘Robin’ Return

Rocky’s back in the ring, in the corner of Creed in another fight against Russia, in theaters this week, along with the return of Robin Hood and Wreck It Ralph.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the extended Thanksgiving holiday weekend of Nov. 21, 2018, through Dec. 13, as there are no new releases opening the next two weeks!

In what is essentially Rocky Part 8, Sylvester Stallone is back in his most iconic role to help his protege face the son of the boxer who killed his father in the sequel Creed II (rated PG13), officially opening on Wednesday, playing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Tuesday) at 7:10pm.

Also new this week, the animated Disney family sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet (rated PG) opens on Wednesday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Tuesday) at 6:15 and 7pm.

And finally, yet another retelling of the classic tale of Robin Hood (rated PG13) also opens on Wednesday at R/C Theatres, with a preview screening tonight (Tuesday) at 7:20pm.

UPDATE: Steven Spielberg’s Oscar winning drama Schindler’s List (rated R) is being re-released for its 25th anniversary, playing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills starting on Friday, Dec. 7.
