DC’s ‘Shazam!’ Debuts Official Teaser Trailer
DC just dropped the first official teaser trailer for their upcoming movie adaptation of Shazam!, which premiered at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) during Warner Bros. Pictures’ presentation in Hall H on Saturday (July 21).
Shazam! will be the seventh film in Warner’s growing DC Extended Universe (DCEU) of big screen movie adaptations, following Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League (2017), and this year’s Aquaman.
The film stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Zachary Levi as Batson’s alter ego, the titular hero.
The official synopsis: A boy is given the ability to become an adult superhero in times of need with a single magic word.
Shazam! arrives in theaters on April 5, 2019.
