KDH Lights Up St. Patrick’s Day with Electric Clover, Pot of Gold [Video / Photo Gallery]

Posted By on March 17, 2017

There is a pot of gold to be discovered in Kill Devil Hills on this St. Patrick’s Day, as the town continues to express its festive spirit with a new electric light display at Aviation Park.

Following the stunning electric heart for Valentine’s Day last month, the Kill Devil Hills Public Works Department took it upon themselves to bring a little luck of the Irish to the Outer Banks this month by erecting a giant green four-leaf clover over a shimmering pot of gold on the stage that over looks the fitness trail at Aviation Park, located off Veterans Drive and adjacent to Town Hall.

We stopped by the park last night (St. Patrick’s Day Eve, March 16) to capture a few images and video highlights of the seasonal illumination for those of you that may have missed out on seeing in person.

We can’t wait to see what the next light display will be for Kill Devil Hills, but we are already looking forward to whatever they do for Halloween.

Check out our new St. Patrick’s video, as well as our previous Valentine’s feature, and then scroll down to view some images in our photo gallery!
