You can Get Out to see the latest horror gem in theaters this week, while a Dog rocks out, a Lion grows up, and The Pioneer experiences a horrifying Split.

Leading this week’s new releases is the new horror film Get Out (rated R), starting Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with special preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:30pm.

Also new this week is the animated family comedy Rock Dog (rated PG), opening on Friday at R/C Theatres KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.

A nominee at this Sunday’s Academy Awards Oscars show, the drama Lion (rated PG13), roars into R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, starting on Friday.

The highly acclaimed horror film Split (rated PG13) comes to the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, for a one-week run through March 2.
