Posted By on February 3, 2017

TNT has announced that the drama Good Behaviorstarring Michelle Dockery, has been renewed for a second season, but the best news is that the new season will be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, where Season 1 was also shot.

After the announcement was made, Bill Vassar, executive vice president of EUE/Screen Gems Studios, where the show was based during production last summer, confirmed to Star News that the production will return to Wilmington to film the second season.

Good Behavior just finished its first 10-episode season in January.

Season 2 will premiere on TNT this fall.

The production start date has not been scheduled yet, but it will be posted on NC Film News once it is confirmed.

This is the second major production announced for the state in 2017, following the feature film American Animals, which is set to start filming in Charlotte in February.

Good Behavior stars Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), based on the Letty Dobesh books by North Carolina author Blake Crouch and Chad Hodge (Wayward Pines), telling the story of Letty Raines (Dockery), a thief and a con artist whose life is always one wrong turn, one bad decision from implosion — which is exactly how she likes it.

Season 1 found Letty fresh out of prison and attempting to stay afloat when she overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man’s wife, she sets out to derail the job, setting her on a collision course with the killer and entangling them in a dangerous and seductive relationship.

The show also stars Juan Diego Botto (Ismael, El Greco), Terry Kinney (Oz, Show Me a Hero), and Lusia Strus (Wayward Pines, Cotton).
