From the studio that brought you Minions, the animated family comedy The Secret Life of Pets (rated PG) opens Friday, playing locally at The Pioneer Theatre in Manteo and RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings set for tonight (Thursday) at 6:45, 7:10, and 9:20pm.
‘The Secret Life of Pets’ is exposed in theaters.
Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

What is being dubbed by some critics as “Wedding Crashers for women”, the comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (rated R), inspired by an actual true story, also opens Friday at RC Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings set for tonight (Thursday) at 7:40 and 10:05pm.
