Island Opry Brings John Michael Montgomery To Roanoke Island Festival Park
The Island Opry Concert Series is bringing national country recording artist John Michael Montgomery to the Outer Banks in August, live in concert at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.
Born in Danville, Kentucky, Montgomery has had more than thirty singles on the Billboard country charts, of which seven have reached number 1, including “I Love the Way You Love Me”, “I Swear”, “Be My Baby Tonight”, “If You’ve Got Love”, and “I Can Love You Like That”, among others.
John Michael Montgomery will share the stage at spacious outdoor pavilion at Festival Park with opening guests Sideline and Flatt Lonesome.
John Michael Montgomery will be live in concert with Sideline and Flatt Lonesome at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo on Thursday, August 4, starting at 6pm.
The gates will open at 4pm, and attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs or blankets for seating, however, umbrellas and tents are not allowed. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside.
There will be vendors selling beer, wine, sodas, and an assortment of food all evening.
All event parking is free and on-site at Festival Park.
Tickets are still $35 through this Friday, July 8, after which they will be $45 each, available for advance online purchase here.
