Kill Devil Derby Brigade Completes Aviation Park Improvements

Posted By on March 31, 2016

The Kill Devil Derby Brigade, Northeastern North Carolina’s premiere roller derby team, calls the Outer Banks home, and they just completed a project to give back to the community.

This tough group of ladies is regularly seen practicing at Aviation Park in Kill Devil Hills. Recently, the Brigade gave back to the town of Kill Devil Hills by painting the women’s and men’s bathrooms facilities at Aviation Park.

Mayor Sheila Davies said, “We are so proud that the Kill Devil Derby Brigade is a vital part of our community. They take no prisoners on the rink, but they have hearts of gold and constantly give back to the community. They participate in so many local events, including our own town’s National Night Out event. We appreciate all that they do, and their outstanding work on the bathroom facilities is so appreciated.”
