Outer Banks Weekend Movie Update – March 4, 2016: Enter ‘Zootopia’

Disney takes you to Zootopia this week, as London falls and Tina Fey goes on a Foxtrot, while The Choice, filmed in North Carolina, arrives at The Pioneer.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of March 4, 2016!

A couple in a boat on the water in North Carolina means a new Nicholas Sparks has arrived. NC-filmed ‘The Choice’ is now playing.

Filmed in Wilmington, New Bern, and Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and based on the novel by North Carolina writer Nicholas Sparks, the heartwarming romance The Choice (rated PG13) starts Friday at The Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, playing for one (through March 10).

Showtime at The Pioneer is 8pm nightly.

Headlining this week’s new releases, the animated comedy Zootopia (rated PG) opens Friday at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7pm.
