Celebrate International Wolf Awareness Week

Posted By on October 11, 2015

International Wolf Awareness Week will be celebrated at the National Wildlife Refuges Visitor Center, located at 100 Conservation Way on Roanoke Island, with singer/songwriter and naturalist Terri Bocklund.

Cry Wolf is a free, one-hour live music and multi-media performance that reveals the amazing and ancient story of the relationship between humans and wolves. Join us Friday, October 16, from 6:00-7:00pm, as Bocklund brings passion for wolf conservation to fuel her exciting and interactive event combining music, story-telling, video, and the latest in wolf research.

After the performance, learn about the Red Wolf Recovery Program from 7 to 8pm. Contact Cindy Heffley at 252-475-4180 for more information.
