NC’s Mountain Faith Playing ‘America’s Got Talent’ Before OBX Festival

North Carolina’s own Mountain Faith return to the stage live on NBC’s hit reality competition show America’s Got Talent tonight as one of the Semifinal acts, before playing locally later this month at the 4th Annual Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival in Manteo. 

The band has been singing and travelling together since first forming in 2000 in Sylva, North Carolina.

Band members include Sam McMahan on bass, Luke Dotson on guitar as well as lead and harmony vocals, Dustin Norrison on mandolin, Summer McMahan on fiddle as well as lead and harmony vocals, and Brayden McMahan on banjo and harmony vocals.

You can watch Mountain Faith perform live on America’s Got Talent tonight (Sept. 1) at 8pm on NBC, and then you can see them in person during the four-day Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival, performing on Saturday, Sept. 26. Click here for more on the Bluegrass Festival.
