Dare County Arts Council Announces New Workshops
Dare County Arts Council is please to present a new series of workshops and classes to help begin 2015 with creativity and learning.
Some of the upcoming classes include “Steam Punk Flowers” a sculpture/jewelry class for adults on January 31, “Beginning Digital Photography” on February 7, “The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity” a 12 week workshop beginning February 12, weekly painting workshop on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 9am, “Kid’s Art Parties” on the third Friday evening of each month, and “Jewelry Making: Rings and Pendants” on March 10.
Currently, a series of after school workshops in craft and fine arts are being developed that will begin in late March. New classes are being added weekly.
Instructors are professional artists who are active in their craft, and have received both local and national recognition.
