The historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo is getting the Liam Neeson (Batman Begins) action sequel Taken 3 (rated PG13) starting tonight (Friday) for a two-week run.

The true story of Martin Luther King Jr. is told in the drama Selma (rated PG13), opening today at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.

The only other new film opening locally this week is Tim Burton’s Bright Eyes (rated PG13), based on a true story, starring Amy Adams (Man of Steel) and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained).
