Celebrate Easter 2014 On The Outer Banks

It’s almost Easter here on the Outer Banks, and we have compiled some of the funnest events happening this weekend to help you celebrate!

Easter Egg Hunt - KDH 2011

The Whalehead Club hosts its annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Currituck Heritage Park in Corolla this Friday, April 18, from 1 to 3pm, featuring balloon art, bean bag toss, face painting, and pony rides, with free admission.

Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head hosts its annual Fly Into Spring Easter Eggstravaganza this Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, in Nags Head, with professional kite demonstrations and events scheduled from 10am to 4pm at Jockey’s Ridge State Park on Friday, and Easter egg hunts happening on Saturday, when the Easter Bunny will also be available for pictures.

The Town of Nags Head will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the town park on West Barnes Street this Saturday, April 19, starting at 1pm. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets.
