Theatre of Dare Announces Cast of 'Oliver!'

Theatre of Dare has announced the cast of their upcoming production of Oliver!.

The principal cast of 'Oliver!' is Micah Bender ( Oliver) Seated - Don Bridge (Fagin), Stuart Parks II (Bill Sykes), Stephanie Sexton (Nancy), Wallace "Watson" Harvey (Artful Dodger), Missy Eppard (Widow Corney) Standing - Sara Cook (Bet), Lara Parks (Mrs. Sowerberry), Dan Ziegler (Mr. Sowerberry), Kelsey Cieplak (Mrs. Bedwin), Tim Hass ( Mr. Brownlow) and director Charles H. Massey.

The principal cast of ‘Oliver!’ is Micah Bender ( Oliver) Seated – Don Bridge (Fagin), Stuart Parks II (Bill Sykes), Stephanie Sexton (Nancy), Wallace “Watson” Harvey (Artful Dodger), Missy Eppard (Widow Corney) Standing – Sara Cook (Bet), Lara Parks (Mrs. Sowerberry), Dan Ziegler (Mr. Sowerberry), Kelsey Cieplak (Mrs. Bedwin), Tim Hass ( Mr. Brownlow) and director Charles H. Massey.

After recent auditions, the cast for Oliver! has been selected.  The Theatre of Dare will finish their 23rd season with the award winning musical by Lionel Bart.

Director Charles Massey along with musical director Gretchen Bender will bring the show to life starting February 28th through March 9th at the College of the Albemarle (COA) campus in Manteo.

The principal cast includes: Micah Bender (Oliver), Don Bridge (Fagin), Stuart Parks II (Bill Sykes), Stephanie Sexton (Nancy), Wallace “Watson” Harvey (Artful Dodger), Missy Eppard (Widow Corney), Sara Cook (Bet), Lara Parks (Mrs. Sowerberry), Dan Ziegler (Mr. Sowerberry), Kelsey Cieplak (Mrs. Bedwin), and Tim Hass (Mr. Brownlow).

There will be six performances over two weekends with showtimes at 7:30pm Friday & Saturday and 2pm on Sundays.  

Based on the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, the musical follows life of the orphaned Oliver from his miserable existence in a workhouse to his work in an undertakers shop and his escape to London where he meets the Artful Dodger and Fagin, and soon learns to pick pockets to survive. 

Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students and will be available at Gray’s Department Store in Kitty Hawk starting in February or you may reserve yours online now here.
