Charity Basketball Tournament Returns To Kill Devil Hills

The 4th F.C. Minton Charity Basketball Tournament returns to the Dare County Parks and Recreation Youth Center in Kill Devil Hills this July for a three-day event designed to help kids who cannot afford many of the programs offered at Parks and Recreation.

The 4th Annual F.C. Minton Charity Basketball Tournament is happening Friday, July 5 through Sunday, July 7 at the Dare County Parks and Recreation Youth Center in Kill Devil Hills.

The fun starts at 6pm on July 5, 9am on July 6, and 1pm on July 7.

Proceeds from the event benefit the F.C. Minton Fund, which helps provide for children that are financially unable to participate in Parks and Recreation.

The deadline for teams to sign up to compete is June 14.

Thanks for the support of this charity event; this is the biggest basketball tournament in the surrounding areas. 16 teams come from all over Raleigh, Elizabeth City, Manteo, lil Washington, Kill Devil Hills, Currituck, Virginia and Hyde County. Come out and support this event we have music by various DJ’s, contest (3 point, half court shots, team competition shooting) Also we will have food and drink along with local dance performance (Rhythm & Groove) and local singing; raffle and give a ways as well JULY 5th-7th 2013 for more info please contact SHAWN 252-475-5925
