A  Disney video game bad guy with a heart of gold tries not to Wreck It in theaters this week, while Liam Neeson gets Taken at The Pioneer.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of Nov. 2 2012!

Liam Neeson (Batman Begins, Star Wars: Episode I) returns for more extreme self defense in the action sequel Taken 2 (rated PG13), opening at the historic Pioneer Theatre in Manteo, starting this Friday for a one week run.

Showtime for the thriller is 8pm nightly at The Pioneer.

Co-starring Famke Janssen (X-Men, Goldeneye) and Maggie Grace (ABC’s Lost), you can get a taste of Neeson’s beatings to come in the player below! 

The only new release opening locally this week is Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph (rated PG), an animated adventure set inside the nostalgic world of vintage video games, starting this Friday at KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills.
