[BATB 2] 'Halloween' Movie Stars Join VA Beach Horror Convention

 Fans of the Halloween movie franchise likely already have their tickets to the second Blood at the Beach Horror Convention, taking over the Virginia Beach, Virginia oceanfront this November, featuring more than 40 celebrity guests, including Lance Guest (The Last Starfighter), who played “Jimmy” in 1981’s Halloween II, and Sid Haig, who had a cameo in director Rob Zombie’s 2007 Halloween remake.

The legendary Haig also starred in Zombie’s Halloween-themed feature film debut House of 1000 Corpses, creating his own horror icon in the clown-faced Captain Spaulding.

Corpses co-star Tom Towles, who also had a cameo appearance in the theatrical cut of Zombie’s Halloween, will join Guest and Haig at the “Blood at the Beach II” convention, which runs from Friday, Nov. 9 through Sunday, Nov. 11 at The Cavalier Hotel on the oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA.

Guest will be joined by his The Last Starfighter (1984) co-stars Suzanne Snyder (Night of the Creeps) and Catherine Mary Stewart (Night of the Comet), who worked in North Carolina in 1989 filming the comedy Weekend at Bernie’s.

Kyle Labine, who appeared as partygoer in Halloween: Resurrection (2002) and starred as “Bill” in Freddy vs. Jason (2003), has also been added to the celebrity guest lineup.
