  1. This thing with coolers is about the tackiest and craziest thing we’ve ever heard of. Either allow coolers or don’t allow coolers. Should we pour 5 quarts of water in to make sure our cooler doesn’t run over or what? Whose brillant idea was this! Virginia Beach, as well as Carolina Beach BMF’s both allow coolers, period. Manteo and Flem Whitt BMF’s never did allow coolers – which is fine too. We do to all sorts of outdoor activities each and every summer. We have yet to have a cooler measured! We’re still considering whether or not to come, because if you’re this anal about coolers, my guess is that there will be other issues as well.
