Outer Banks Bike Week 2018 Schedule of Events Announced

Outer Banks Bike Week roars back to life this year, with events happening throughout the area April 21-28, 2018, including four live concerts featuring national recording artists Blackfoot, Jackyl, Christopher Shayne, and Mark Farmer, and additional events throughout the week.

Headliners Blackfoot (“Train, Train”) bring their southern rock to the stage to kick off Bike Week 2018 on Saturday, April 21. 

Christopher Shayne and his band couldn’t get enough of the Outer Banks at last year’s Bike Week Music Fest, so they are back to take the stage again this year on Sunday, April 22.

The following weekend, Bike Week culminates with two more nights of live music, featuring Mark Farmer (formerly of Grand Funk Railroad) in concert on Friday, April 27.

The final night of Outer Banks Bike Week 2018 wraps up Jackyl (“The Lumberjack”) in concert on Saturday, April 28.

All four concerts will take place at Outer Banks Harley-Davidson, located just over the Wright Memorial Bridge in Harbinger, Currituck County. Gates open on April 21 and 22 at noon, and on April 27 an 28 at 5pm.

Additional events are happening throughout the week at various vendor sites, including the annual Bikini Contest and Tattoo/Beer Belly Contest at Outer Banks Harley-Davidson on Saturday afternoon, April 28, and other entertainment at Longboard’s, BK Shuckers, and JJ Brewbaker’s, among other locations.
