Outer Banks Halloweekend Discounts Offered Oct. 23-25!

For anyone coming to the Outer Banks from out of town, The Cavalier Motel, located on the beach road in Kill Devil Hills, is offering a generous 20% discounted rate all weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 23, 24, and 25, for guests attending our event. Guests must inform the motel that they will be attending the Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes when making their reservation in order to get the discount.

Just down the street and even closer to the parade site, The Ramada Plaza Hotel, located on the oceanfront in Nags Head, is offering a discounted block of rooms for just $79 (regularly $119) on Sunday, Oct. 25. If interested in reserving one of these rooms, you need to call the Ramada directly at  252-441-2151 and mention the name of the block “Halloween Parade of Costumes” or the block code CGHPOC.

When it’s time eat for locals or visitors alike, the historic Jolly Roger Restaurant, located in Kill Devil Hills, is serving up 15% off any regular menu adult dinner entree, excluding any nightly entree specials, starting after 4:30pm on Saturday Oct. 24 and Sunday Oct. 25. This discount may not be combined with any other discount or coupon, and you must mention “Halloween Parade” to get the discount.

The 2nd Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes returns to Kelly’s in Nags Head on Sunday, Oct. 25, with the parade registration and the pre-parade party starting at 2pm and the parade itself beginning at 3, with an awards ceremony recognizing the best costumes to follow.

Related Halloween events also happening during OBX Hallo-weekend Oct. 23-25 include the Wanchese Woods and PsychoPath haunted attractions on Friday and Saturday night starting at dark, the Island Farm pumpkin patch on Saturday in Manteo, Harvest Hay Day on Saturday at the Elizabethan Gardens on Roanoke Island, and First Flight Elementary School Trick or Treat Night on Saturday in Kill Devil Hills, all culminating with the Halloween Parade on Sunday.

2nd Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes - Oct. 25, 2015

The 2nd Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes returns to Kelly’s in Nags Head on Sunday, October 25, 2015!

This free, family-friendly event features thousands of dollars in prizes for the best costumes entered in the Parade, as well as live entertainment, surprise guests, photo ops, trick-or-treating, and much more.

Special guests include the creeps and ghouls from the Wanchese Woods and PsychoPath haunts, the roller girls of the Kill Devil Derby Brigade, our Super friends from Earth 383 Comics & Games, and the Star Wars 501st Legion Carolina Garrison.

Get your perfect pumpkin at the annual Great Pumpkin Fair from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Nags Head Elementary School.

The Outer Banks Family YMCA in Nags Head will host their annual Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 3 to 4:30pm. OBX Entertainment will be there a couple of special guests from Halloween Town, some please come by our trunk to say hi!

The annual First Flight Elementary School Trick or Treat Night PTO fundraiser is happening during OBX Hallo-Weeekend on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 4 to 8pm at First Flight Elementary in Kill Devil Hills.

Wanchese Woods Outer Banks Haunted Trail - Oct. 3-Nov. 1, 2014

The Wanchese Woods Haunted Trail is back to provide more extreme scares, in addition to their new kid-friendly Boo Acres area, open on Friday and Saturday nights in October.

Admission is $15 cash only at the gate.

Island Farm in Manteo will host their annual pumpkin patch each Saturday in October from 10am to 4pm, though Halloween day, Oct. 31.

Harvest Hay Day at Elizabethan Gardens - Oct. 24, 2015

Harvest Hay Day returns to the Elizabethan Gardens at Fort Raleigh on Roanoke Island during OBX Hallo-Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10am to 1pm, featuring hayrides and hay bale maze, as well as scarecrow making, face painting, educational crafts, music, and Magic Mike the Clown.

Halloween ComicFest 2015 comes to Earth 383 Comics and Games in Kill Devil Hills on Halloween Day, Saturday, Oct. 31, featuring free Halloween-themed comics and related activities at the shop throughout the day.

Outer Banks Halloween Bloody Mary Bash - Oct. 31, 2015

A new event this year is the first even Halloween Bloody Mary Bash at Kelly’s on Halloween Day, Oct. 31.

What a better way to start off your Halloween day shenanigans than some Bloody Marys and some great food (ya gotta have a base right?) Join us for the first ever Bloody Mary Bash! Vamp it up and make plans to get in your costume and be at Kelly’s Restaurant Tavern at Noon! Pinnacle Premium Vodkas will be mixed with signature bloody recipes.

A long time favorite, the Bloody Mary offers a fun opportunity for a variety of recipes and presentations – think crazy garnishes of shrimp, bacon, crab legs, cheeseburger sliders, cheeses, etc. Be ready to taste bloody’s featuring Pinnacle Vodkas and a huge variety of garnishes along with a light bite food accompaniment from about 10 Outer Banks restaurants.

All will compete for awards to see who is judged “Best OBX Bloody Mary” by People’s Choice votes.

Exotic Erotic Ball at Outer Banks Brewing Station - Oct. 31, 2014

The Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills will host their annual Exotic Erotic Ball on Halloween night, Saturday, Oct. 31, starting at 10pm, featuring prizes for the most exotic and erotic costumes.
