'Eastbound and Down' Season 4 Trailer Revealed [NC Film]

Filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, the first official trailer for Season 4 of HBO’s hit comedy series Eastbound and Down came online yesterday, featuring the raunchy and hilarious return of Danny McBride’s Kenny Powers.

Played by Fredericksburg, Virginia’s Danny McBride (Your Highness, Pinapple Express), Eastbound and Down‘s anti-hero “Kenny Powers” is from a fictionalized version of Shelby, North Carolina.

Season 3 ended with Kenny returning home to Shelby.

Season 1 was filmed in Southeast North Carolina in 2008, while Seasons 2 and 3 split locations between Puerto Rico, Myrtle Beach, and Wilmington.

Season 4 of Eastbound and Down will premiere at 10pm on Sunday, September 29 on HBO.
