Posted By on November 8, 2019

Kill Devil Hills’ Mayor Sheila Davies was invited to Nova Scotia, Canada to speak to the Council of Canadians conference about Kill Devil Hills’ and Dare County’s efforts opposing offshore drilling, as Nova Scotia officials are currently facing similar threats of drilling off their coasts.

For the past several years, Mayor Davies has represented Kill Devil Hills at numerous conferences, in various locations, to voice the Town’s continued opposition to offshore oil and gas exploration and seismic testing off the North Carolina coast.
