2019 Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Parade Returns to Nags Head

Posted By on February 18, 2019

The 30th Annual Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Parade will return to Nags Head on St. Patrick’s Day 2019.

Parade founder Mike Kelly, owner of Pamlico Jack’s and Mako’s restaurants, recently confirmed to OBX Entertainment that the popular parade, billed as the largest St. Patrick’s celebration in North Carolina, will return to its traditional route along the NC 12 beach road (South Virginia Dare Trail) in Nags Head on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

The parade procession begins at 1:00pm, rain or shine.

UPDATE: While the parade march will follow its usual route starting from Bladen Street (near milepost 11.5) and going north, it will end approximately a half-mile earlier than normal, at Admiral Street, due to stormwater improvement construction that is ongoing in the Gallery Row area.

Following the parade, the official after party is happening at Mako’s Beach Grille and Bar in Kill Devil Hills, with free hot dogs and a DJ.
