Weekend Movie Update – July 4, 2018: ‘Ant-Man’ Goes Big

Ant-Man is back with a new partner in the latest Marvel adventure in theaters this week, while The Purge begins in a new prequel.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for this extended Independence Day holiday weekend of July 4, 2018!

The First Purge (rated R) goes back to the beginning to show how the annual 12-hour period when all crime including murder is legal started, officially opening on Wednesay at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Tuesday) at 7:50 and 10:20pm.

The first post-Infinity War sequel from Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp (rated PG13) officially opens Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings on Thursday at 6:30, 7:40, 9:25, and 10:15pm.

The highly acclaimed Mr. Rogers documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor? also starts Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills.
