Soundside FunFair Carnival Rides Into Nags Head

Posted By on June 6, 2016

The first Soundside FunFair event brings a family friendly carnival to Nags Head this weekend, to benefit the Children and Youth Partnership for Dare County.

Everyone young and old is invited to come out to The Soundside event site in Nags Head this Thursday, June 9 through Sunday June 12 from 5 to 11pm for good old-fashioned carnival fun, featuring 12 rides, including a giant Ferris wheel, games, and food concessions, such as cotton candy, funnel cakes, chicken-on-a-stick, and lots more.

On-site parking for the event is limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Off-site parking will be available at Nags Head Elementary School, the future site of Dowdy Park, the Town of Nags Head building, and the Epstein Beach access. Free shuttles will be running on the night of the events to transport families to and from the event site.

Admission to the carnival, as well as on and off-site parking at the designated off-site parking areas and shuttles to the event site from the off-site parking sites is free.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the event site on the evenings of the event for the rides and games.
Single tickets cost $1 each, a book of 20 tickets costs $20, or an all-you-can-ride wristband will cost $20 and will entitle the purchaser to unlimited rides for the night (not including games).

Tickets purchased will be good for any day of the event (June 9-12), however, wristbands are good from the time of purchase to the end of the night on the evening they are purchased.

Rides will require 2 to 6 tickets each.
