Juniper Rising Music Video Filmed in Nags Head

 Nags Head native Holly Overton, who now lives in Brooklyn, New York, has directed an official music video for her band, Juniper Rising, using super 8 footage that she shot at Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head.

Originally from Nags Head, Overton relocated to New York after graduating from Parsons School of Design for Fine Arts in 2009.

The Friends of Jockey’s Ridge shared the video for the Juniper Rising song “Daydream for a Friend” on their Facebook page earlier today.

The dreamy retro-styled video was originally posted on Juniper Rising’s YouTube channel in 2013.
