Kitty Hawk Kites’ 41st Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular and Air Games will soar high above Jockey’s Ridge in May.

The 41st Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular and Air Games will take place starting on Friday, May 17 and continuing through Monday, May 20 at Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head.

Read on for the complete schedule of events for all four days, including the Kitty Hawk Kites Film Festival on Friday night, May 17 at The Pit in Kill Devil Hills, and a street dance on Saturday night, May 18, featuring local blues favorites E.Z. and The Heat live in concert.

Friday, May 17th

8am-12pm: Registration

Location: Hang Gliding School

12pm-5pm: Dune Competition Day 1

Location: Sand Dunes

7pm-10pm: Kitty Hawk Kites Film Festival

Location: The Pit, 1209 S Croatan Hwy. Kill Devil Hills 

Saturday May 18th

8pm-10pm: Registration

Location: Hang Gliding School

10am-4pm: Dune Competition

Location: Sand Dunes

5pm-7:30pm: Instructor Alumni Reunion

Location: Nags Head Store

8pm-11pm: Street Dance: Enjoy EZ & the Heat!

Sunday May 19th

10am-2:30 pm: Dune Competition

Location: Sand Dunes

4:30-5:30: Dune Event Awards

Location: Nags Head Store

5:30-6:30: Rogallo Foundation Dinner

9am-4pm Aero Tow Competition
