Feast On Outer Banks Taste of the Beach 2014

The Outer Banks Restaurant Association’s 2014 Taste of the Beach begins today, serving up four days of food, drink, and wine throughout Dare County.

Taste of the Beach 2014 is happening March 13-16 throughout the Outer Banks.

The annual Taste of the Beach Food and Wine Festival kicks off today, March 13 and runs all St. Patrick’s Day weekend through this Sunday March 16, with more than 50 different events happening throughout the Outer Banks each day.

The mouth watering fun culminates with the Grand Tasting at Pamlico Jack’s in Nags Head, featuring more than 20 local restaurants, in addition to beer and wine booths.

Celebrity chef Michael Smith is also in the area this week to participate in some of the Tasty events happening (read more here).

Restaurants will be competing for the 5th Annual TOB’y Awards; Best Booth Presentation, Best In Show, Best Outer Banks Catch, and the two top awards, the Chefs Award and People’s Choice Award. These awards will be announced at the Grand Tasting this Sunday at Pamlico Jack’s.
