A new era for the concert scene on the Outer Banks begins today with the official launch of Live From OBX, set to bring more high profile music events to Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo than ever before, as VusicOBX passes the torch of their popular summer series to refocus on smaller shows. The Outer Banks music scene is entering an exciting new era with the launch of Live From OBX, an event producer dedicated to preserving and expanding the legacy of live music. Backed by a passionate and experienced team cultivated from VusicOBX, Live From OBX is ready to bring even more world-class entertainment to the Outer Banks.

Live From OBX is more than a concert series—it’s a commitment to delivering dynamic and diverse entertainment that resonates with the Outer Banks community and its visitors. With strong ties to North Carolina and deep experience in the music industry, the Live From OBX team is dedicated to building on the solid foundation we’ve accomplished with VusicOBX while growing the region’s live music offerings for years to come.
Aaron Flahardy, born and raised in Greenville, NC, and with roots in Jacksonville, NC, as a military dependent, has been a part of the 30+ shows VusicOBX has put on over the last 3 years and is excited for more. Balancing his time between the OBX and Eastern North Carolina, where he remains close to his son, Aaron’s connection to the community is both personal and professional. With nearly 20 years in the concert industry, Aaron’s journey has taken him from small club shows to large outdoor productions across North Carolina, working with artists ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Snoop Dogg.

Live From OBX continues the core values of “live music on the Outer Banks” — bringing communities together with great hospitality and a passion for awesome live music in this beautiful place. We can’t wait to bring more of that great energy to “our backyard”.
