Sublime with Rome Farewell Tour Hits Outer Banks August 29
Sublime with Rome will bring their Farewell Tour to the Outer Banks in concert this month, with special guests G. Love & Special Sauce and Fortunate Youth, presented by VusicOBX.
Announcing this current lineup’s Farewell Tour earlier this year, Sublime with Rome issued the following statement to fans: “We present to you the Sublime with Rome Farewell Tour. These last few shows are about celebrating the end of this special era and to commemorate a decade plus of music, memories, fun times, and electric shows. We can’t thank you all enough for being the greatest fans and coming along for the ride all these years. We can’t wait to hit the road one last time with an incredible lineup of musicians to join Rome Ramirez, with Joe Tomino on drums, Brian Allen on the bass, and Gabrial McNair on the trombone.”
More than a decade after the 1996 death of original Sublime singer Bradley Nowell, surviving Sublime members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh began collaborating with singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez and started performing together in 2010, playing all the classic Sublime songs in addition to new collaborations as Sublime with Rome, which has undergone various lineup changes since.
Fans can expect to hear radio-favorite hits such as “Wrong Way”, “Santeria”, “Badfish”, “What I Got”, and many more at the band’s upcoming Outer Banks concert.
Sublime with Rome, with special guests G. Love & Special Sauce and Fortunate Youth, will hit the stage live on Thursday, August 29 at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo, part of the 2024 Outer Banks summer concert series presented by VusicOBX.
