311 Return to Outer Banks for Summer Concert August 9

311 will return to the Outer Banks in concert this summer, bringing their Unity Tour to Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo in August, with special guests AWOLNATION and Neon Trees, presented by VusicOBX.

A staple of 1990s era alternative rock radio, 311 was formed in 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska, featuring Nick Hexum (vocals/guitar), Chad Sexton (drums), Tim Mahoney (guitar), SA Martinez (vocals/dj), and P-Nut (bass), mixing rock, rap, reggae, and funk into their own unique, hybrid sound, and now 32 years later, the band is still kicking it live and just dropped their newest single.

As veterans of over 2,000 shows across 27 countries, 311 is one of the longest running original lineups in rock.

311 have released 13 studio albums, two greatest hits albums, two live albums, three DVDs, and a boxed-set, and have sold over 9 million records in the U.S., including their three #1 hit singles “Down”, “Love Song”, and “Don’t Tread On Me”, along with radio favorites “Amber”, “All Mixed Up”, and more.

311 with special guests AWOLNATION and Neon Trees will hit the stage live on Friday, August 9 at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo, part of the 2024 Outer Banks summer concert series presented by VusicOBX.

Earlier this week, 311 released “You’re Gonna Get It”, their first new song in five years, and its official music video, which you can check out below.

Longtime locals may recall that 311 previously played two packed house shows at the old Atlantis Beach Club, which used to be located on the NC12 beach road in Nags Head, in 1994 and again in 1995.

Tickets for 311 are on sale now here.
