Watch a Heartbreaking Moment in ‘Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks’ Exclusive Clip
The locally filmed National Geographic Channel (NatGeo) reality competition series Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks is currently in the middle of its seventh season, and we have an exclusive clip from this weekend’s episode in which one captain has a heartbreaking moment that goes far beyond losing a fish
The captains of Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks certainly know all too well just how unforgiving the waters of the Atlantic can be, and North Carolina locals understand that Mother Nature can be relentless on land, as well. On this Sunday’s episode, one captain experiences a devastating loss upon returning home from a day of tough fishing.
In this emotional clip, provided exclusively to OBX Entertainment, from this Sunday’s episode, entitled “Fishing Up a Storm,” Captain Nick Gowitzka of the Little Shell rushes home after receiving a call from his wife that water had begun to flood their house. After arriving on the scene, he finds that much of the lower level of his home is filled with water.

Filmed on the Outer Banks, North Carolina, the breakout TV show spin-off of the original Wicked Tuna that follows the exciting work of hardcore tuna fishermen on the Outer Banks, production of the new season began in January, once again shot mostly aboard the boats of the local and visiting captains from Gloucester until the region’s bluefin quota is met.
Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks airs on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. on Nat Geo.
