Watch Hilarious ’80s Sitcom Style ‘Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks’ Promo
What if the locally filmed National Geographic Channel (Nat Geo) reality competition series Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks was a sitcom made in the 1980s? That’s a question you may have never considered, but we have the answer nonetheless in a hilarious new promo released for the show, which is currently its seventh season.
The new ’80s sitcom-inspired promo for “Tuna Town,” which you can watch below, comes complete with vintage music and title fonts, and even a laugh track.

Filmed on the Outer Banks, North Carolina, the breakout TV show spin off of the original Wicked Tuna that follows the exciting work of hardcore tuna fishermen on the Outer Banks, production of the new season began in January, once again shot mostly aboard the boats of the local and visiting captains from Gloucester until the region’s bluefin quota is met.
Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks airs on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. on NatGeo.
