Weekend Movie Update – March 13, 2020: ‘The Hunt’ is On

One of the year’s most controversial films finally arrives in theaters this week, while a man is resurrected as a superhero, and a Christian musician goes on a journey of faith.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of Friday the 13th of March 2020!

Twelve people are taken to be hunted for sport by a group of gun-loving elites in the latest horror film from Blumhouse, The Hunt (rated R), officially opening on Friday, playing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills.

Also new this week, Vin Diesel stars in the comic book-based action adventure Bloodshot (rated PG13), about a soldier killed and then brought back to life as a superhero, opening Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 5:00 and 7:20 p.m.

Telling the true life story of Christian music mega star Jeremy Camp, I Still Believe (rated PG) also opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devi Hills, with an early preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m.
