It’s a relatively slow time for new releases in theaters this week, as Playmobil gets the big screen treatment, while Frozen 2 dominates and everyone prepares to make room for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in just two weeks.

Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe lends his voice to the animated adventure Playmobil: The Movie (rated PG) officially opening on Friday, showing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 12:50, 3:10, and 6:00 p.m.
