The sequel to Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, the horror film Doctor Sleep (rated R) officially opens on Friday, showing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 6:00 p.m.

Based on the true story, the war drama Midway (rated PG13) officially opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m.
Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke stars in the romantic comedy Last Christmas (rated PG13) also opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with an early preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m.
Also new this week, Tyler Mane (who played Michael Myers in Halloween 2007 and Halloween II 2009) stars along with John Cena and Halloween 2018’s Judy Greer in the family comedy Playing with Fire (rated PG), opening Friday in Kill Devil Hills, with early preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 4:00 and 7:25 p.m.
