A killer stalks the ultimate Halloween scream park in theaters this week, while Night School is in session and Bigfoot’s Small cousin is discovered.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of Sept. 28, 2018!

A masked killer turns a horror themed amusement park into his own personal playground, terrorizing a group of friends while the rest of the patrons believe that it is all part of the show in the new horror film Hell Fest (rated R) officially opening on Friday, playing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills.

A preview screening will be held tonight (Thursday) at 7:50pm, to be preceded by a premiere night party starting at 7pm in the lobby hosted by OBX Entertainment and the Outer Banks Halloween Society to promote the upcoming Halloween International Film Festival.

Also new this week, the comedy Night School (rated PG13), opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:40pm.

The animated family film Smallfoot (rated PG) also opens Friday in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 4:10 and 7:20pm.
