The monsters of Hotel Transylvania are on Summer Vacation in theaters this week, while The Rock faces a Skyscraper.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of July 13, 2018!

The monsters of ‘Hotel Transylvania’ are taking a ‘Summer Vacation’.

The animated sequel Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation takes the monsters from the first two films on a cruise ship (rated PG), officially opening on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Tuesday) at 5:30, 7:40, and 9:45pm.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson does his best Die Hard in the new action film Skycraper (rated PG13), officially opening Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7:10 and 9:55pm.

The only other new released playing locally this week is the drama Leave No Trace (rated PG), about a father and daughter living off the grid until their idyllic life is shattered when both are put into social services. It officially opens on starts Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 7 and 9:55pm.
