Episode VIII of the epic Star Wars saga, The Last Jedi (rated PG13) officially opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, and our friends at Earth 383 Comics & Games are hosting a premiere night party tonight (Thursday) starting at 4pm, featuring an art show and photos with the local stormtroopers of the 501st Legion cosplay group. Preview showtimes for tonight (Thursday) are at 7, 7:10, and 7:20pm.

The animated comedy Ferdinand (rated PG) is also new this week, opening on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills.
