Weekend Movie Update – Nov. 17, 2017: ‘Justice’ Is Here

The most iconic superhero comic book characters of all time bring Justice in theaters this week, while a Star celebrates the true meaning of Christmas and a boy of Wonder steps into a bigger world.

Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of Nov. 17, 2017!

The ‘Justice League’ arrives.

The fifth film in the DC Extended (cinematic) Universe, the superhero team-up Justice League (rated PG13) opens on Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with a special preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 6pm. 

The film unites Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Henry Cavill as Superman , directed by Zack Snyder (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron).

An animated retelling of the Biblical first Christmas from the point of view of donkey, The Star (rated PG) also opens Friday at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with preview screenings tonight (Thursday) at 5:15 and 7:20pm.

A drama about a homeschooled boy with facial differences that goes to mainstream school for the first time, Wonder (rated PG) also opens Friday at R/C KDH Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills, with a preview screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:10pm.
