First Flight Trick Or Treat Night Halloween Fundraiser Returns During HalloWeek

Posted By on October 6, 2017

HalloWeek is happening on the Outer Banks this year, with many Halloween events happening around the area, anchored by the 4th Annual Halloween Parade on Oct. 29, and also including the Halloween International Film Festival and the annual Trick or Treat Night PTO fundraiser at First Fright Elementary School on Oct. 28.

Trick or Treat Night, to be held at First Flight Elementary School on Saturday, October 28th, is a family friendly fundraising event hosted by the PTO that includes a plethora of Halloween activities.

Guests can Trick-or-Treat through the halls, visit the library turned haunted house, or take a chance in the cake walk.

With games, glitter tattoos, rock painting, balloon animals, and a digital photo booth by Five Fish Photography, kids of all ages are guaranteed a frightfully good time!  The event also includes a raffle full of amazing prizes and a silent auction packed with merchandise and gift certificates donated by local businesses.   Slice Pizzeria will be on hand selling pizza and hot dogs for dinner, as well.

Monies raised from this event will be used to supplement several of the school’s existing programs and help create new learning opportunities for students.  Last year, First Flight Elementary School PTO, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was able to fund a sound system for the music program, continue work on the outdoor classroom and garden, expand our cultural arts program, offset yearbook costs for each student, provide incentives and prizes for our positive behavior program, pay for field day activities, provide items for teacher and staff appreciation, purchase 40 chromebooks to expand technology opportunities for the students, and much more.

All are invited to attend Trick-or-Treat Night on Saturday, Oct. 28th from 4 to 7:30pm at First Flight Elementary School.

Admission is $2 plus a non-perishable donation for the Beach Pantry.

Don’t forget to wear your costumes!

This event is made possible in part by Super Wings, Red Sky Travel Insurance, Henry’s Restaurant, and VanderMyde Real Estate Group.
