Weekend Movie Update – July 7, 2017: ‘Spider-Man’ Swings Into Theaters
Marvel’s new and improved Spider-Man arrives in theaters this week.
Here’s your Outer Banks Movie Update for the weekend of July 7, 2017!
After debuting in Captain America: Civil War, this will be the new Spidey’s first solo film as part of the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that also includes all of the The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Doctor Strange.
The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, along with Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Jon Favreau as Stark’s pal Happy Hogan, former Disney star Zendaya as new love interested Michelle, and the original Batman himself Michael Keaton as The Vulture, directed by Jon Watts (Clown).
Spider-Man: Homecoming (rated PG13) opens on Friday (July 7), playing locally at R/C Theatres in Kill Devil Hills, with special preview screenings happening tonight (Thursday) at 7:10 and 10pm in 2D format and at 7:50 and 10:40pm in 3D.
