‘Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks’ Season 4 First Look Revealed
We have your exclusive first look at the upcoming Season 4 of the locally filmed National Geographic Channel (NatGeo) reality competition series Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks, with a new preview promising that “salty memories make for sweet revenge.”
The teaser promo spot first aired during this past Sunday’s season finale episode of the original Wicked Tuna, which also featured one of our own OBX Entertainment decals on board Captain Dave Marciano’s Hard Merchandise.
In the Wicked Tuna season finale episode, one of our black and white “OBXE” stickers can clearly be seen on the Hard Merchandise in numerous scenes starting at around the 7:38 mark. You can see a few screenshots below, or watch the full episode online here. A huge thanks goes out to one of our eagle-eyed readers, Steve Smelcer, who spotted the decal first and notified us about it!
You can watch our 2016 interview with Capt. Marciano, filmed aboard the Hard Merchandise, here.
Filmed on the Outer Banks, North Carolina, the breakout TV show spin off of the original Wicked Tuna that follows the exciting work of hardcore tuna fishermen on the Outer Banks, production of the new season began in January, once again shot mostly aboard the boats of the local and visiting captains from Gloucester until the region’s bluefin quota is met.
Locally based charter boat Fishin’ Frenzy, led by Captain Greg Mayer, has won the competition each of the first three seasons of the show.
As featured in this first preview, Mayer is back once again with the Fishin’ Frenzy, along with Captain Britton Shackelford of the Doghouse and Captain Tyler McLaughlin of the Pinwheel, among others.
Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks Season 4 will premiere on Sunday, July 30 at 10pm on NatGeo.
