Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Parade 2017 Highlights [Video / Photo Gallery]

Posted By on March 12, 2017

An Outer Banks tradition for almost three decades, the 28th Annual Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Parade turned the beach road green today (Sunday, March 12), as locals and visitors alike came out to celebrate, despite some snow flurries in the morning and some extremely temperatures in the afternoon.

Recognized as the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in North Carolina, the parade kicked off at 1pm and marched along NC 12 from Bladen to Driftwood Street.

OBX Entertainment was at the 2017 St. Patrick’s Parade to capture some of the sights and sounds of the event, which included the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department having to make an unexpected exit from the parade procession when they received an emergency call.

You can watch the emergency exit and other highlights from the 28th Annual Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Parade in the videos below, and then click here to view our photo gallery and purchase prints!
