Come be a part of a team of educators who make History Fun! Help visitors learn about 16th century life as a character in period garb aboard the Elizabeth II or in the English Settlement Site. If costumes aren’t for you, be a docent interpreting in the American Indian Town and the Adventure Museum (blue shirt and khakis). If you enjoy meeting people, learning something new, and working with students in a non-traditional classroom, Festival Park is for You!
Love retail? The Museum Store volunteers will assist staff members in serving customers at the Museum Store.
Be a greeter on the porch or on the telephone in the administration offices. Assist with tickets for the Summer Children’s Performance Series and other inside events.
Volunteer aboard the Elizabeth II and participate as a member of the volunteer crew and learn how to sail a square rigger from tying knots to setting sail. Crew members can participate in monthly crew weekends and earn enough hours to participate in a training sail.
Come join the staff at Roanoke Island Festival Park and help foster and promote historic and cultural programs.
