Outer Banks Quilt Show Is Back At Roanoke Island Festival Park In March
Outer Banks Community Quilt Show returns to Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo, showing in the gallery March 4-18 from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
There will be an Opening Reception on Friday, March 3 from 6 to 8pm, featuring a performance by the piano students of Calvino Music School and light refreshments in the Event Room at Festival Park.
Vintage and antique quilts of all sizes will be on display. The show will include quilts made, or owned by quilters from the area, and by those with close ties to the Outer Banks. A wide range of quilting techniques including quilting, embroidery, applique’, and other needlework and embellishments will be showcased.
Have quilting questions? Knowledgeable quilters will be available to answer questions and describe the featured quilts.
