The Force is Strong in New ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Trailers
With less than a month to go until Darth Vader returns to theaters in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Disney and Lucasfilm have released two new epic trailers this weekend, featuring new scenes from the highly anticipated prequel!
Rogue One flashes back to a time period in the mythology that takes place after the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and just before the events of the very first Star Wars movie, Episode IV: A New Hope.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters), telling the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.
The film stars Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything, The Amazing Spider-Man 2); Diego Luna (Milk, Killing Them Softly); Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline); Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Blade II); Jiang Wen (Let the Bullets Fly, Devils on the Doorstep); Forest Whitaker (The Butler, The Last King of Scotland); Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Hannibal); Alan Tudyk (Con Man, Trumbo); and Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler, Four Lions).
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will arrive in theaters on December 16, 2016.
